Stephens. Born April 21, 1969 to Dame Maggie Smith and the late Robert Stephens, young Toby was destined for the stage and screen. He has been in many
stage productions including Hamlet and A Streetcar Named Desire and is considered "a stage actor of distinction". He's also been seen across the
screen in an adaptation of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, Sharpe's Challenge, Die Another Day (where he is probably best known to
American audiences), Cambridge Spies, and most recently BBC's Jane Eyre where he played the brooding Edward Rochester. If you wish to know
