Yzerman. I'm rubbish at introductions, but what can one say about the man? There's a lot to say, in fact. Currently in his 24th season with the Wings (now, as Vice-President of the team), Steve
Yzerman is a name that has become synonymous with dedication, leadership, and "Hockeytown". Made the captain of the Red Wings when he was a
mere lad of 21, 'Stevie Y' was at the helm until his retirement in 2006, leading his Wings to 3 Stanley Cup championships in the past decade (1997, 1998, & 2002),
breaking records, and collecting other personal trophies of his own in the process. It'd be flat-out ridiculous to think that one day, he
wouldn't have a place set aside for him in the Hockey Hall of Fame. The man is legend.
